South Sun has been a leading designer and manufacturer of unique beaded jewelry for nearly 20 years.

In 2005, South Sun opened their first retail bead store in San Diego, mostly as a solution to move the large amount of samples they carried from 20 years of manufacturing.

The response was overwhelming, San Diego's beaders instantly loved South Sun's giant selection of gemstone beads, silver pendants, and unique findings.

Part of South Sun's vision is to provide rare natural gemstones for their jewelry designs. They are in direct contact with gemstone cutting facitilites worldwide, and are among the first to know about newly discovered stones, new types of stone treatments, and original cuts and shapes.

Whether its because of our uncommon selection of gemstones or because of our unique findings, we are happy to see our customers trust us first for their beading components.
